Dr. Tom Czechura provides the highest quality and safest personalized care to achieve the best outcome for each individual patient. He earned his Master of Public Health from Dartmouth Medical School, and this education gives him insight into the different social and behavioral factors that are associated with personalized patient care.
Dr. Czechura was born in Poland and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. While completing cancer research, he was accepted to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he graduated first.
While at Louisville, Dr. Czechura received awards for academic excellence in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Dental Gross and Neurological Anatomy, Histology, and Pharmacology and Dental Therapeutics.
He received the Horace Wells Senior Student Award for outstanding achievement in Dental Anesthesiology. Dr. Czechura was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, received the award for highest academic standing from the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award.
Dr. Czechura matched at his top choice for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency—Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. In his final year of residency, he served as chief resident.
His clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, zygomatic implants, full arch rehabilitation, bone grafting and regeneration, and orthognathic surgery. He is also fluent in Polish. Dr. Czechura and his family are thrilled to call Lincoln home. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, cycling, and golfing.
